Since 1987, Mrs. Coplon has served the greater Memphis Healthcare Community in the nursing profession. She has been employed on Medical Surgical Floors at Methodist and The Regional Medical Center. In addition, Mrs. Coplon received certification in Hospice & Palliative Care and served as a Home Health and Hospice Nurse through Methodist Alliance for over 20 years. Her outstanding achievements earned her selection as a finalist in The 2002 Memphis Health Care Heroes Awards.

She furthered her education and received a degree as a Family Nurse Practitioner from the University of Memphis. Since she obtained her advanced practice degree and license, Mrs. Coplon has taken care of adult and pediatric patients in various medical practices. During her clinical rotations, she had the opportunity to work under the direction of a number of the region's leading primary care and specialty practices in the areas of Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, Women's health, Pediatrics, Cardiology, Oncology, and Radiology. She is dedicated to caring for and treating the entire family as a unit. She appreciates every person as being "fearfully and wonderfully made." One of her primary focuses is on assisting new moms in breastfeeding. "Twenty-five years ago when I began breastfeeding my first child, the medical field was advocating formula as the ideal infant nutrition. I was considered an outlier and support for breastfeeding moms was almost non-existent."

Mrs. Coplon joyfully resides in Memphis with her wonderful husband. They have five terrific children that have taught them much about life and how to live each day as if it is all about "them." She and her husband recently celebrated the wedding of their daughter and are now the proud parents of a new son-in law.
